Kia ora,
I was born in the small island of Samoa. I then moved to Auckland. After finishing school, I moved to Hamilton for university & decided to stick around after graduating.
I have a degree in Health, Sports & Human Performance, with a major in sports coaching & minor in community health.
it was a big achievement in itself as well as being the first few in my family to graduate university which made it that more special.
Rugby is definitely a top interest of mine, both league & union. Whether it be playing, watching or even potentially coaching the game.
It’s most rewarding for me to be in a position where I can directly facilitate the health & well-being of people. I love helping people start on their journey as I was once in their shoes feeling anxious about taking the first few steps.
Another thing I love about the health & wellness industry is the diversity, the industry is full of people from different backgrounds on the same path of self development.
My advice for anyone looking to improve their health & fitness would be to clearly set out what your goals are. From there you can create a suitable plan for yourself. Like other things in life having a clear vision & a plan set out tends to make the process less confusing & you can have more confidence in what you’re doing.
